I've drawn the line.

This blog used to be called The Truth About South Africa. It's taken me a while to realize that nobody really knows the truth about South Africa. The truth is a very weird thing, you see. It could be said that facts are the truth. But what are facts? Are they not just words written by a person? A person with emotions and preconceptions and someone who has undoubtedly been influenced to some degree by society, political parties, the media, religion and his or her own past.

So now that we've established that there really is no such thing as the truth, I'll move right along.

I started The Truth About South Africa a couple of years ago and I never expected that it would explode the way it did. I was at a bit of a low point and for some reason I started reading up about farm murders and black on white murders in South Africa. One thing led to another and I got really upset about it. So I started a blog. I wrote a few articles and used stats that I found on the internet. I mean, where else would I get the stats? Not like I'm going to go into the cesspit of Pretoria to some library and dig through archives like they do in the movies.

I did an article called 'How many blacks were killed during Apartheid", again with stats I found on the internet. The post went viral. I got 20 000 hits in one day.

Then I published an article called "White Genocide in South Africa" and that has been sustaining my blog with a decent amount of traffic ever since. In fact, if you're still reading, you probably clicked on a link pointing to that article.

I'm not sure why people started sharing the articles, but I'm pretty sure it's because of the pictures I uploaded. It's amazing that nobody reported it to Google and that it was never taken down.

As you can see, I almost got a million hits so far.

So for a while there I started feeling like I had a voice. Like people were actually listening to what I was saying. I even made a bit of money out of the blog.

I got a figure for black on white murders from a website called "Genocide Museum". It claimed (and still does - the figure has been the same for years) that 68798 white people have been murdered by blacks since 1994. So I used that figure. As people started linking to my articles, especially the one about white genocide, they started giving me shit about the figure. And I thought that I'd change the figure to 70 000 and say that I don't know the real figure, but that one is too many.

It's hard to say exactly how many links there are to my site. I deleted Webmaster Tools a long time ago. Some backlink checkers put it in the region of 3500, some more. This figure excludes Twitter and Facebook. A Google search for my domain name returns this:

Admittedly, there were a lot of websites claiming that white people were being wiped out in South Africa, but mine was getting the attention because I knew a bit about SEO and how to get noticed on Google, so that's probably why mine did better than other sites.

So now I was getting a lot of traffic and I started writing a lot. I wrote a shitload of articles, but most people didn't really read that. They visited my site for blood and guts. I even got searches that looked a lot like porn searches which freaked me out for a while. Stuff like 'naked white girl raped by black african'...

And now I start seeing this figure of 70 000 black on white murders being thrown around on the internet. So at some point I started questioning this figure. From 1994 to 2014. 20 years. 7300 days. That means 9.6 black on white murders per day. Could be true. On average, 50 people are murdered every day in South Africa. Whites make up about 10% of the population and we could be murdered at a disproportionate number because we're on average more affluent. But the fact is - I don't really know.

We do know that more than 3000 white farmers have been murdered in sometimes the most horrific ways. It's true that some white people are tortured, gang raped and disemboweled by gangs of blacks. I'm not trying to say that this isn't happening.

There is definitely something sinister going on. And the country is a ticking time bomb with millions and millions of unemployed young blacks living in squalor with no hope. We've got Julius Malema going around telling these kids that white people stole their land. That white people own the banks, the mines, the farms... And when they revolt, they'll come for us first.

But I don't have reliable stats. It's fucking hard or nearly impossible to get stats. I know that these murders are happening. Two of my friends' dads were murdered for no material gain whatsoever. And you read about it all the time. But I don't have exact numbers.

The other thing that started bothering me was that my blog was becoming a race-based venting website. Dim-witted idiots started shouting racist abuse at each other from both sides. It was infuriating in the beginning and I responded, hoping to change these peoples' views, but there was no use. I was preaching to the converted and whoever opposed my views only hurled stupid insults at me, so I just let it go. I blocked a few words from Disqus and just let everybody rip into each other.

I started a Facebook group and somebody offered to promote it for free. Today there are more than 4000 members. I deleted my profile a few hours ago because I've had enough.

I never meant for my blog to become some kind of race based white supremacist website. I never meant for the Facebook group to become that either. But I was judging people by my own standards. I now know that white and black South Africans are not ready to get over the past. Whites still have a superiority complex and blacks still have an inferiority complex. And until that is sorted out - which will probably be never - I want no further part in this fight.

I intend to keep writing about things that I think about and feel strongly about, but I'm going to delete my old blog because it creates division. And if nobody reads what I'm saying then fuck it. I don't care. I think 90% of the people who visited never really read what I wrote anyway.

If I could pack my bags tonight and get the hell out of South Africa, I would. I don't have any loyalty to this country. I don't give a shit about the Springbok rugby team. I can buy and barbecue meat anywhere in the world. I'm agnostic, I don't think that God 'saved' my tribe at Blood river and that he will somehow 'lead his people out of Egypt'. Our tribe is insignificant. We will not endure. Our language will be gone in 3 generations and we will assimilate into other countries or blend in with the African population in South Africa. Or be murdered.

And nobody will give a fuck. Because they can't make money out of giving a fuck.
